Third, do daily maintenance work, such as:
(1) Keep the equipment clean, dry, free from oil and leaks.
(2) Check whether the running sound of the pump is normal, whether there is vibration or leakage, etc., and find problems in time.
(3) Check the oil level in the bracket every day. The correct oil level is near the oil line position and should not exceed ±2mm.
(4) It is strictly forbidden to work in the state where the slurry in the pool is evacuated, because the slurry pump works not only with vibration but also affects the life of the pump.
(5) Each pump is marked with the size of the largest solid particles allowed to pass, and it is strictly forbidden to enter the metal object and the large solid particles that exceed the pump's permission. Moreover, it is strictly forbidden to enter flexible materials such as rubber, cotton yarn and plastic in the pump to avoid damage to the flow parts and block the impeller and flow passage, resulting in the pump not working properly.
(6) Always check the pressure and flow rate of the shaft seal water and cooling water. It is possible to check the opening degree of the shaft sealing water valve or the method of detecting the temperature of the stuffing box. When the temperature is high, the water supply amount is insufficient. For pumps with grease-lubricated packing, the oil should be refilled 1-2 times a day to ensure that the slurry pump is in good lubrication.
